In the rearview mirror is the silhoutte of hazy clouds of the evening
Lazy hues of red and blue blending the hallucination of calm
Let’s look ahead instead ….. the storm has been waiting for long now!

Nature

Nature was God until Humans thought they could take control.
Calmness was free until ego set out the chaos.
Acceptance was viral until selflessness read about “being yourself”.
The dynamics of it all, we will never find a balance.
But, are we really looking for it ?

Struggle to know

Knowledge is earned,
Or otherwise it is just a superficial diaspora
Where your mind finds happiness in comfort
And is driven away from the homeland of struggle

Ilm kamaya jaata hai
Nai to woh ek mamooli panah ki talaash ban jaati hai
Jahan ilham aaraam main khush hai
Aur junoon se bahut door ja chuka hai

The rambling of a creative buffoon

I lose focus with the same discipline as of a wounded mother trying to save her child. Yes, I lose focus on a watch. I watch myself lose focus and my head starts to churn strange concoctions of already stored visual, sound and smell memories. The world seems to change its color and notions. Sometimes it is bright and sunny, sometimes dark and humid, each beautiful in its own way. The richness of life stands entirely on knowledge, peace, love and respect. All this in just a gaze into the scenery around me, be it wherever. A lost gaze absconding in the rebel against focus. I want to stay here forever, but as they say, you should not lose FOCUS for long, or it ruins you!

Gordon Allport’s Contact theory was observed as a prejudiced approach towards mending ways between conflicting group of individuals.

I realized it off late that when someone says, ‘stay in touch’, it feels good. Acceptance and remembrance are the pillars of human interaction. In these two glorious phases, we dance like a monkey, we laugh like a king, we whine like a bitch and cry like a baby! Haven’t noticed yet? Well just wait to make a brand-new friend or find a brand-new passion. And then maybe indulge in remembering the best times you guys had together. The contact with the right frequency could magnify your life trajectories but contact with the wrong one could also throw a dark light on your odds and ebbs. The contact is a fuzzy logic of so many interactions, that bringing it down to the linear level of throwing two groups at each other to resolve the conflict does seem like a prejudiced situation.

Daily Prompt: Contact

Compromise, Maybe!

The length of the rope, which on one end has a stack of hope and the dark realm on the other, decides how long the balancing act is going to last.
You do not remember exactly how you came this far with the longevity of balancing act, but you have been trying to balance it out at the extreme ends of the rope.
Your lows are too low and highs, too high.
The faith goes from dark to bright to grey to black to white to a rainbow.
The extremities cause the demise of the master, every single time.
A master, everybody seeks. And a master, everyone else is.
The master of conversation, the master of relaxation, the master of reclusion, the master of inheritance, the master of the respect, the master of the shame, the master of love, the master of lust, the master of elusiveness, the master of time……
And then they have a magnetic force field. If in this lifetime, you figured out that following and being followed are both ends of the same rope, you will probably like to be at the centre for the balancing act.
Being an extremist, a non-quitter and a stubborn buffoon makes you do the same thing over a thousand times only to lose to the system every single time and plan again and go again.
And then you start to multitask and there are a thousand loops of code running at the same time and you want every single one to converge.
And then they lose you and you lose them. Then you lose yourself.
There is another way of getting around, bending it a little, and bending yourself a little.
Compromise, Maybe.
You got to have the bigger piece in your plate though; and then you truly lose, to yourself!

A lot of us may know the name “John Locke” from the famous TV series “Lost“. But that lot might not remember his character’s real name “Jeremy Bentham”. His character went through a lot of pain during his life before the plane crashed into the island where he found himself absolved of all pain and began to believe that “The Island” was his place to be, as he found a lot of pleasure in following its vague spiritual orders through “Jacob”, and otherwise.

In the real world too, a Jeremy Bentham existed a while ago. Was he in anyway connected to this reel character? Lets ponder!

Jeremy Bentham breathed through 1748 until 1832. He was the great British Economist and Philosopher who founded ‘Utilitarianism‘ and tried to quantify the ‘Pleasures and Pains’ in one’s life through his thorough but still tacit work called “Felicific Calculus

Life Analogies

The confusion was as bewildered as the mid life crisis
The fear was as scary as a mother with menopause
The sorrow was as gloomy as every Sunday evening
The light was as bright as the pre death hallucination,
The violence was as bloody as the first period in a girl’s life,
The darkness was as blinding as the sun directly glaring into the eyes,
The chaos was as organized as Nature or God’s work !

Daily Prompt

DAY one

He looked around in confusion; everyone was a stranger!

He was nervous, shaking a bit; his senses feared danger

He did not enroll for this himself, he had not a clue

Who were all these kids, why were they here out of the blue !

He sat down at a bench at the back, because he was insecure

He wanted to keep an eye on everyone, just to be sure

It was his DAY ONE, he knew this was not ending soon

Much later he realized, school was sane, life made him a loon !

So, he opened up the first notebook of his life and scribbled ‘I did not sign up for THIS MYSELF!’
